My Journey

My journey began in graduate school for Nutrition Education a few years ago. I was studying for my MBA and had a realization that health and wellness was my passion and helping others was something I needed to do. I don't have the perfect body or eat perfectly; I am a person who learned how to be healthy later in life and wanted to share my knowledge with others. I never realized the importance of good energy and overall health until I had my children who had many food issues from food allergies, to hearing about girls with body image issues, to fueling adolescent athletics. I have a Psychology and Math degree and am about to complete a Master’s Degree in Nutrition Education from American University this summer and become a certified nutritionist in Washington State.

This is my blog and I will continue to share healthy life tips with you.
